Clive Posted December 6, 2010 Share Posted December 6, 2010 On a herald??If so I ran my herald for years on an SU HS4. I used a dolomite inlet manifold as that was designed for an SU so really easy. Otherwsie you will need to play about as the studs are on the opposite corners to the strommies. Should be possible to make an adaptor plate from some thick steel. nang Posted December 7, 2010 Author Share Posted December 7, 2010 I've just got a Herald based kit car (mg tf replica) which at the moment is in a rather poor condition-worn carb, brazed brake lines and other horrible things I'm going to have to sort out.Pity as the rest of the car has been well done. Nothing that a bit of time and money won't fix! Preferring SU's over Strombergs I'd like to swap if poss. Thinking something like a Morris 1300 one. Like the sound of a Dolly manifold.
