Spit was a bit slow today, went about 500 yds and noticed smoke from the engine, lifted the bonnet and smoke was coming from nearside caliper. I pumped the brake and managed to free it to get it back home.
Caliper off and pistons were stuck which I blew out with compressed air. Looks like the dust covers have failed..
Pistons cleaned up ok and just ordered a repair kit.
Oh and also ordered a pair of rubber hoses as the braided ones I have on which are approx 13 years old  it's not possible to know the condition of them.
I take it the dust covers go on last after the pistons are in.

RBRR not long now glad it happened now, just when I thought all was well.

Rebuilt the calipers and put new brake fluid in today. Found the rear offside wheel was solid so took that apart and cleaned and greased the adjuster which was stuck solid  and slave which was not sliding.
