irish44j Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 ...and doesn't want to order from the usual places or wants to buy them at your local auto parts store....After spending a good bit of time in the Wagner catalog, I found out that the "modern" bulb that matches the OEM screw-in bulbs for smiths gauges and other dash warning lights on the late 60s/early 70s cars.Anyhow, the bulb number is the 1449 and it fits perfectly. I believe this bulb number supercedes the 1446, which also fits but it no longer available. From your local auto parts store you should be able to get them for about $8 (US) for a pack of 10.I would imagine you can get Wagner bulbs worldwide.

So went to the parts store down the street and used their catalog while they searched for another part for another car of mine....but now your site is bookmarked.I really wish this forum had "sticky" or "pinned" threads with FAQs and information like that. I moderate a Nissan forum and you can find any answer in the FAQs, pretty much.
irish44j Posted August 10, 2008 Author Posted August 10, 2008 btw...man, I didn't even know "geocities" existed anymore. I used to use that stuff like 10 years ago ;DI think we should all take webpage lessons from Andre...
