Overdrive oil pressure test

Hi!

I want to check the oil pressure on my overdrive, i've seen on a site that you can test it with a gauge..

Now where do i get one or what can i use ? any idea's ?  :)

I've been having trouble with o/d in 3rd gear , seems i've been loosing oil pressure .

Hello Wimpus,

you'll need to source a suitable pressure gauge and adapter to connect to the overdrive. The oil pressure is very high, check the manual for your particular car. Engineering merchants and the like can probably supply what you need, not general car parts shops.
