cook1e
I've planned out a schedule of fuel stops for team flying log, that may be useful especially to newbies. We probably won't follow it totally once on the run but it's good to have a plan, especially as my Dolly is fitted with a smaller Toledo tank this time around so has slightly reduced range All of these are on the route with no detours, and I've used all but the one on the A34 on previous RBRRs so know they will be open when we pass. The A34 bit being is on the new route this year but I have used it on other trips.

thescrapman
With fuel costing up to 25p a litre more at some services compared to just off the motor way poor choice of refills could cost a lot of money. Perth Tesco is a good example, we will be going there for sure. If it is busy at Skiatch on way back down, revert to the old route for a couple of miles and filll up at Tesco Conan Bridge, and grab sandwiches for lunch at the same time. £3 meal deal paid for by savings possibly. Any other options easily accessible?
