Surprised that it has not been mentioned on the forum but the RBRR raised

over £95,000 for the Guide dogs for the blind. Wonderful.

From Facebook:

Feeling amazed, surprised and very proud of my club. Over £95,000 raised for Guide Dogs for the blind by our Round Britain Reliability Run. Big cheque presented last night to the charity at our annual dinner. Go Club Triumph!

cheers

I was equally surprised Mike but I guess almost all the post dinner comment is on Facebook or similar these days, don't do social media myself. I have emailed all my sponsors with the great news and already received several replies expressing amazement at the amount raised by the event.

What a fantastic achievement, and the bar has been raised (again) for the 2018 event.
It's also worth pointing out that not only did CT support Guide Dogs for the Blind, at Blyth (and probably other places as well) they came out and supported us. We had two very personable and interested GDftB local reps who stayed with the marshalling team at Blyth for most of the night. They deserve every penny that CT members raised.
