Little White Tolly - TR7 engined Toledo

Afternoon folks, I haven't been on the forum for a very long time but thought a bit of an update now I have joined the Club might be nice. My '75 Toledo was bought around 2006 if I remember correctly - she was an eBay purchased and was sub £100 after the original buyer didn't bother completing. The seller was a young guy who used the car to commute to his teaching job but had his head turned following comments from friends and colleagues to get something newer. She was driven back from somewhere near Chiswick I think. She needed a bit of a clean and a small repair weld where the battery had leaked. I used her for a while and fitted 1300FWD seats until the offer of a free 1500FWD came up and Raider (from the Club) rocked up and bought her. She went on a tour of Spain I think and then a TR7 engine was fitted. Raider sold her to a mate of mine and he fitted a lower mileage unit. I swapped her for an MGF, kept her for a while and then sold her to a guy who did very little with her. I swapped her back for a Seat 133. I'm just in the process of cleaning up the headlight fittings and have new headlights to go in. I want to rewire  the overdrive switch to the dash and relocate the electric fan switch too. Then all will be well for the MOT. Joe Ernest will be using her to drive in the 2010(?) 10 Countries and possibly something else (I can't quite remember). So any hints on suitable modifications would be very well received. Now she's back with me for good! :)

The LWT is now more or less the LBT. She went over to Dale at Mooredale Motors in Potters Bar for some suspension tweaking and stuffs. She is a whole lot better now.

I am hoping to enter the 2020 RBRR in her, so fingers crossed.

I'll see if I can get some piccies up.

Just need to get her carpet sorted, a carb balance and timing checked and adjusted if necessary. She wil get a full service and we should be good to go.
