The formulas used in 2007, 2009 and 2011 were refined for 2013 and it was found when driving a well sorted car (apart from small problems with the alternator and fan belt) and 2 experienced drivers, the timings were spot on. This does include stopping for fuel. food and bodily functions and minor repairs. In fact the team was usually 5 to 10 minutes early at each way point.
