Velocita Rosso
To advise and to allay any fears of the cross Channel dispute.Ferry sailings to Dunkirk are sailing normally with no problems, with the exception of checking in at Dover/Dunkirk.The advisory is "To check in with an additional one hour, over and above the normal 45 minutes, prior to sailing"So all those who have booked their crossings, please check in ....no later than one hour and forty five minutes prior to sailing Please make sure you have your ticket/confirmation slips ready to enable a speedy checking in at both Dover and Dunkirk
cook1e
Only issue will be getting into Dover if operation stack is on. I came through Dover just over a week ago. On the Saturday Stack was on and it was taking an hour or two to queue along the A2 into Dover. However Stack was closed overnight and by the morning the traffic had cleared. Just was well as our ferry crossing wa sthe next day.Safest bet may be an overnight stay in or just outside Dover which is what we did a few days ago.But as Mike says, the actual Dunkirk crossings are fine, it's just the traffic issues in Kent...
