pimp my vit Posted June 2, 2021 Share Posted June 2, 2021 I have this clunk as I drive maybe worse on overrun but I think it there all the time, new UJs on prop and half shafts so not those...I have some play in the diff and enclose a couple of videos (turn sound up high) do you think this is the cause of my clunking? RobPearce Posted June 2, 2021 Share Posted June 2, 2021 I don't think that noise is coming from the diff, it's from the brake drum. Usually worn bushes on the spring eye or trunnion (vertical link to bearing housing) are to blame. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Lookout Posted July 17, 2021 Share Posted July 17, 2021 Hi I have the same problems when I change gear loud cluck from the rear , when I turn my wheels like you I get the same sound , new bearings and uv joints on mine too , the cluck it not there when I jack it up and put the car in neutral, can anyone advice .
