Chriss Posted May 1, 2013 Share Posted May 1, 2013 Although we thought we would not be able to put on a Track Day this year there has been talking behind the scenes and Goodwood, through LLoyd McNeil, want to put on a day for Classic Cars and are giving us and our various "friends" first dibs.The day will be a Monday, the 25th November and the price will be £150 and helmet hire will be available. There will be 40 places and it is up to us to fill as many of those as we can. Those places we cannot fill will be offered to other Classic Car Clubs. So the more of us we can get the more like a CT day it will be.I am sure this will be a great day, although it is late in the year. Goodwood always has a special ambiance, not only from the track but the Goodwood team that operate the event giving a friendly but efficient day without too much red tape. As always CT TDs are open to anyone with any model of Triumph, regardless of club membership, Triumph based specials and other invited clubs. Dale Posted May 2, 2013 Share Posted May 2, 2013 I think you can definitely add Matt and I in either Harold or Matt's Spit (must get him to name it) or possibly both (unlikely). Although this is fairly late in the year it had to be so as we wouldn't have had a Monday or Friday at that price any earlier in the year. It's also worth pointing out that November in Sussex can be like September elsewhere in the country and even like July in the frozen Norff - eh Mr Charlton? When we were up t'ut mega Norff 3 weeks ago on the HCR there were still 3 foot snow drifts (really), shivering lambs (seriously) and brass monkeys looking sadly bereft (OK I know). ;) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
