bilk
I swapped the engine in my 1500 this weekend but after fitting I noticed there is a dowel missing from the new head >:(Is it possible to buy dowels because they don't seem to be listed on the usual suppliers websites.I can always put the old head on but it would be alot quicker to just replace the dowel.Cheers, Phil
CharlieB
Do you mean the dowels for the inlet manifold? You might be able to extract one from the old head, they're only pushed in. Rimmers do them DS2512 or measure the size & go to an engineering suppliers.Charlie

willcolumbine
Probably easiest to get them from rimmers but you could go to an engineering supply shop and ask for a couple of 'roll pins' - thats what those dowel things are called and when I asked for 2 they just let me have 'em with no charge!
