Freebird
Hi AllI thought I would pass on an idea that I came up with to ease lifting the big, heavy 6 pot head off the engine. This can be tricky especially if, like me recently. you have to do it alone. There is not much to grab hold of and it's too low meaning you have to bend your back, which is the last thing you want to do.What I did was to re-fit the rocker cover upside down, it makes a great lifting handle and at a good height too - simples. Freebird
Marcus The head was off due to blowing all the water out on lap 3 of Spa classic track laps and cooking it big time. We (Jerry and I) did a campsite bodge with lots of silicone and hylomar which got us home, but the head had an 8 thou bow and was using quite a bit of water. All fixed now.
