James
Anyone got any advice? Where from?I fancy statics as I don't like the idea of big inertia reels on the back shelf.
Lord Sorbington
Think Chris Witor sells static rear belts
heraldcoupe
Should be the same basic design as post 1967 Herald front belts. Unused Stanpart ones turn up fairly regularly (at a price!), or try Pete Copestick for new ones. Far better then those nasty looking modern ones.....Cheers,Bill. James
Thanks guys - I really don't want ugly modern ones.I need them in time for the 10CR - so I could wait for some Stanpart ones to come along... then again it doesn't really matter as long as whatever goes in there looks nice. Lord Sorbington
I'm able to get inertia reel ones from my local Unipart agent, £35 each - have seen a few saloons with them fitted and they look OK - they are listed as suitable for the Triumph 2000 so are period type items, not obtrusive. Know what you mean though, not wanting to spoil the appearance of your car.Mine has static front belts and none on the rear - from a comfort and safety point of view I think the inertia belts are best, not really keen on the static belts. One day will have inertia reels all round......There is also a company which will make and install belts to your specification, colour etc but guess that would cost.
