Lord Sorbington
Would suggest Chris Witor, a 2000/2500 saloon specialist. Don't have his number to hand but he has a website. The 2000s used CDS carbs for a short time and he sells rebuild kits too. Had a gasket kit from him recently. Deleted User
I'm just curious as to whether there may be some way to repair the damage, even if it's just as a temporary measure.
Silvery
My '72 2000 Strombergs are 10 miles away and I don't fancy driving to the next town to look at them - But they might be CDS's. Both are in need of rebuild, but might yield useful parts? Going fairly cheap to a good (or bad, or in fact any) home.
