mooncat
Who does the most repair panels for the Mk1, I am gathering panels for my Mk1 Estate and Mk1 PI rebuilds, needing a Mk1 Lower front valance and maybe some sills, where is my best bet or anyone have one..??? cheers Keith
Richard B
Mk1 Lower front valance :- Golddust (and more expensive!)Personally I use Earlpart for repair panels, although Chris Witor does also stock stuff. If you are doing the sills I'd go for the Earlpart Middle sills with extension (cost about £50 each). You just need to add the drain holes and the larger holes (as required). ps if doing the sills you have to cut the bottom of the front wings off to gain access to the nose of the sill. There were a couple of good 2000/2.5 Register articles on this.

2500 Stiffler
I'm sure I saw a 2500S engine on there yesterday (not that that helps) and PI throttle bodies and inj system (seperate listings).
mooncat
Been keeping any eye on ebay, the Estate will be getting New front wings, new bonnet, sills, 4 doors ( 2 new ) and I have complete rear wings ( not sure if they are required ) it will get stripped and blasted and complete rebuilt, should get at this this year if I get the new shed built... same with the PI but it needs much much less, PI going original, Estate going updated but period if you know what I mean.... I will have to add some pics, going to rebuild my website so will start build pages on there, cheers for the advice... Keith

mooncat
Dont be holding your breath... 8-) loads of customer work to get through, but I now have an employee so I hope I can start the triumphs this year... I will hope fully put up a shed that can hold my collection of cars, this will enable me to work on them without getting in the way of the cust work, it will be 24ftx120ft hopefully cheers Keith

mikeyb
Don't talk to me about estate rear wings - went all the way to Milton keynes and bought a NOS to repair the Mk1 PI saloon (arch gone), then found a bargain Mk1 saloon wing a few weeks later! Anyone else need an estate o/s/r wing? :)
