Velocita Rosso Posted January 15, 2018 Author Share Posted January 15, 2018 FEASIBLE ENTRANTS OPINIONS PLEASEWe are getting closer on the finite detail of the Border Raiders event and it is with this in mind we invite your input.To ensure we get the overnight accommodation, on the first night, arranged ...we need to reserve a number of rooms to enable the `field` being billeted in the same hotel.We have located a hotel that would be good for us, but they require a deposit to hold all the rooms.....if we do not reserve a full hotel then it would mean entrants finding their own accommodation for that night and would obviously not be in a socialising groupA feasible interest in the event has realised 14 entrants already and another 10 would fill that hotelWe invite your comments please to enable us to go forward.A `finish`point will be advertised shortly ,with recommended hotels being advertised for those wishing to stay overnight and `visit the sights`. How soon does the hotel need the deposit to secure the rooms? It's a tricky situation. "We" liketo get all this stuff sorted early, where as "I" tend to leave it too late We have a dilemma, in the need to reserve a hotel for the Saturday night and therefor everyone showing interest on this topic/thread is being Pm`d/mailed to consider sending a deposit for the Saturday night in the hotel`way up north`....nice for matrimonial stuff Once the selected Saturday night hotel has been booked.....two further hotels will be advised as the over spills, and these are within walking distance for us all to socialiseAll this pre arranging will avoid everyone being `bomb burst` in different locations and keeping us all togetherWe will start as usual at the OST, to be booked by individuals, Saturday night `way up North`as a block booking and finish in another location yet to be revealed....but very shortly....plenty of time.
