Quoted from PeteStupps-

I've got a suggestion, or at least a question.

Several times I've written out replies to threads and pressed 'Post', only to discover that the session has timed out and my well-crafted (!) text has all been lost.

Does this happen to anyone else? Is there a way of stopping it? Other than writing posts out faster...

Pete

Afraid I can't help. Not encountered the issue myself, but it is flippin frustrating when stuff disappears (currently fighting with a govt website, inputting stacks of info, too much to do in one go. Save it, and next time random amounts have not saved. 2 steps forward, 1, 2 or 3 steps back each time)

Anyway, things are moving, and we are hoping to have some real news in the next few weeks. (no, the new forum/website won't be ready for a while, but most of the background work is done. Taking longer than anticipated as we are trying to nail down everything, and there is more details than any of us knew. The current situation isn't helping either...)

Quoted from Hogie4A-

The systems used by TRR and TSSC go a step further.

If you write a post but then for whatever reason do not send it it will remain in the text box for when you do your next post.

So if you do it wrong you simply go back in and there it is.

Roger

The invision software appears to be pretty good🙂
