Diff studs

hi again,

Trying to get the swing spring back on the car all afternoon but cannot get the studs back into the diff housing. Is there a technique to getting it all lined up that anyone is aware of?

Dr pepper, one of the things i doo with most studs, is to put a ..slot ..  in em

this way, i can screw them in / out, shake it all aboot,ohhh the okey kokey, :) :)

I find a thin, flat blade screw driver helps - drop it down in place of one of the studs and have a poke around to find the hole and, more importantly where there is diff.

If you have diff to the left the spring is too far right so get out and hit the right hand spring eye with a hammer, then repeat your screw driver dowsing.

If you are fitting a spring lowering block it's even more fun as you have three holes to line up!
