Danny,

Another thing, you should still be able to see your video on your own channel.

One of mine was blocked a few months back but I can still view it on my own channel.

Download a free programme to download it onto your laptop.

I currently use Mediahuman - had it for ages but don't remember if I had to pay for it.

Works a treat.

Jim.

Thank Jim. I'll have ago with the app. I can play the video myself on my channel, just thought everyone else can. No wonder there's no many views.

Danny

I've put together a new RBRR video that's a bit different from all previous videos of the event we've seen.

I contacted Mathew Whittles, Howard Brissenden and Peter Raemen for their RBRR footage and used some of my own and that of my daughter, Katy, to produce and edit together some material already on YouTube and some unpublished.

So, instead of the RBRR from one crew's perspective, I've produced a video that is more like what you would expect from an outfit with cameras fitted on numerous cars and at locations around the route.

The footage is of the 2016 and 2018 events and was originally a teaser for what it would be possible to produce for the 2020 event but Covid put paid to that and in 2021, crews had access problems to the UK or new cars to be run in.

So not enough footage for this type of video in 2021, but 2023?  Who knows.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it and don't find the music not to your taste.  Come on, who doesn't like trombones!

Thanks to Mathew, Howard, Peter and Katy and also Tim Bancroft for his support.

If anyone knows how to link it to Club Triumph, please feel free as I thought I did, but I don't.

Cecil B DeMcJim.

Just watched your vid @McJim, thoroughly enjoyed it - good work!

I only got a couple of snippets from last year's run, if I do it again (!) I'll probably get a Gopro. Always envious of the quality videos some people manage to get.

Last year I fitted up a GoClone onto the dash of my Spitfire. It worked really quite well, except that I forgot the connect the charging cable so it only recorded briefly. Then I didn't get round to sorting that out (for some reason I misinterpreted the behaviour as a full memory card) so I don't have any useful footage.

Happy to create a YouTube playlist of videos if that's where most of them are.

We have a Google account at clubtriumphltd@gmail.com - I think someone walked off with the original clubtriumph@gmail.com account?

Having videos on the site takes a lot of storage but why isn't there a page with links to all the videos we have taken and posted links to over the years?

Cheers

Howard

We could certainly do with that.

We have a "difficult to find" gallery section at the moment but if that was made easier to find plus a video link section along the same lines, that would be even better.

Jim.
