Uneven ride height

Hi all

 

MKII stag with RV8.....

 

1 inch lower front springs....standard rear springs.  New shocks all round.

 

the rear ride height is uneven...Near side is approx 3/4 inch higher than offside.

 

any suggestions/advice on cause/fix would be greatly appreciated

Have you changed the rear spring insulators, the off side might be thicker than the near side

One other thing to consider is the springs themselves. My TR7 unloaded spring length didn't change but after a few months they had gone soft so when installed the car was sitting much to low at the back.

Both my stags have been like this. Swapped suspension left to right, fitted different suspension etc. Only logical conclusion is the shell is not true.

The second of the 2 cars defintely not had an damage. Ended up fitting and additional poly insulator on right rear with the lip cut off. Problem fixed!
