JimEB Posted May 21, 2017 Share Posted May 21, 2017 Howdy 🙂I know that cylinder head studs (the ones which fit in the block) should be hand tight, to avoid unnecessary stress, but what about the studs in the cylinder head itself? Steve AKA vitessesteve Posted May 21, 2017 Share Posted May 21, 2017 Generally the things fixed by the studs are being clamped on, so you need to think of the torque applied to the nut/washer combo on the stud.
