spitty67
Hi Everyone, Couldn`t resist uploading a few pics of the spit 1300 restoration so far. Engine just in rebuild with a few performance mods and a Pheonix exhaust so should be good for 100 bhp or so..I hope! You`ll see a few pics of the HS4 Carbs I just been working on, I`ve taken the run on flaps on the butterfly valves out and filled the holes with Aluminium and linished it flat as didnt have any hard solder left. Might have some Electrolytic problems there though and dont really want the chucks of Ali flying into my newly rebuilt engine!
spitty67
The Canleys Fibre glass gearbox tunnel needed a bit of work to get it to fit nicely, There was almost a 1/2 inch gap on the one side when fitted so mr filler went to work! I had no such problems. Mine was a good fit. Are your floors even?
CharlieB
I sent my fibreglass tunnel back (not Canleys), terrible fit, & bought a plastic one, much better but still had to mod the gear lever hole.
