Needs restoration?? Why? I would be very pleased the way this car looks and could well live with the paint as is. Am I missing something? Are we looking at the same car?
Maybe needs a bit of work (wood revarnish, replace door mirror) but not much if I should own the car.

Not sure what they are thinking. Needs a few dings repaired, and then new paint. Interior, like you said, needs work. Beyond that, it looks like a mostly easy restoration-hopefully there is no rust hidden under filler hidden under the respray. Get the mechanicals sorted and it could be a driver with not much else effort.
Not really a resto, just repairs. Curious what it will go for.

It seems nowadays that many folks assume that a car must be in "Concours" condition; otherwise, it simply isn't worthy.  ;)

Sorry totally wouldn't touch this car........... Well the steering wheels on the wrong side!!!! ;D

There are some rust spots and areas that need touching up but it's not a bad car atall. I think the seller is just covering his back so there is no come back.

Would driven the **** daylight out of it ... Looks great to do a running resto in the coming decade..

Only thing i would change is a mk1 in stead of 2 :)
