2litre-e
just wondering as they already have the holes for harnesses and look similar to mx5 seat size
gilesdive
No, not tried Mazda seats.Tried Reliant Scimitar. You sit a bit higher with them. Also the back is a bit "squarer" and wider at the top, so fouls the hood a bit when putting it up & down. A bit of subtle "reshaping" of the back made it fit. Comfortable enough though. 2litre-e
trawling the interweb discovered that the rx7 seats fit nicely in the suzuki cappuccino so i'd have thought must be quite narrow.
Deleted User
i remember looking at a set, they look as though they could fit, not sure about the feet though as they are strangely long. i do like the look of them though, and the bottom foam is a lot less than mx5 seats so you would sit lower. 2litre-e
for those of you who don't read my long thread about cats and football injuries, rx7 seats do fit in a spitfire, bit of a fiddle but they do go in, i bolted straight to the floor as i wanted more headroom and on the runners i think they would be too high. you can still reach the reclining button( they have 2, one low down on the outside of the seat and one high up on the inside).only noticed tohight as i'm cleaning them , they are not symmetrical , the gearbox tunnel side is a lot thinner and flatter which is probably why they go in. :)
