Ok my gt6 was mot around 4weeks ago and for that I
put a new starter soloniod on.it has been running fine until
the solonid packed up last week. I bypassed it so I could get
home but Now when it runs it won't start for a while when I
turn I off. The starter motor is upgraded (already on the car)
do I need a bigger soloniod

Thanks Jack

Its on a push button start so when pushed
the soloniod just clicks / jams when it does start
by shorting it it then sticks until I tap it. the motor
then shuts off the thing is it's a new solenoid and I'm not sure
why it won't start again when warm I'm not sure what motor it is
but it seems to be working ok.

hi the starter motor is very easy to change. disconect. the battery first. remove the lead from the starter motor. then you have two bolts to undo. using a socket and a spanner both 9/16. fitting is reverse. dont forget to replace the spacer. new starter motors are easy to get. moss are the cheapest £36. any problems pop another post up. pete

Try & get one with the RED push button, makes life a lot easier when setting the rockers. They do go for reasonable money but i bought mine for 99p as it was hidden in a small pile of mini junk, i told the seller to reauction the junk & just send me the solenoid at minimal postage, a real ebay bargain.
