Johnwahlberg
I have just recently purchased a 1500 spitfire with a gearbox issue, when putting into 4th gear this has to be done really fast or it doesn't,t go in, slowly at low revs there is no chance of it going into gear, bit a bit more revs and very quickly it goes in, it's a non overdrive box, anyone any ideas. Thanks John

Johnwahlberg
I'm not sure, I only collected the car at the weekend, it's a 1977 version, reverse is right and forward as you ask. Any advice would be much appreciated, just found it odd, I thought as it goes in if you do it really quickly, but slowly at low revs you have no chanceThanksJohn
