markythesparky Posted July 28, 2015 Share Posted July 28, 2015 I have a small oil leak on my 1500 gearbox it seems to be coming out of the bolt on the side that secures the reverse idler shaft can i loosen it a few turns and put hylomar or somthing on the threads and retighten it. Richard B Posted July 29, 2015 Share Posted July 29, 2015 I'm with Tim, on check the breather first. However if oil is finding its way out it wil probably continue to do so.
