Rallyspit
Just replacing my 3rail box with an overdrive single rail. Can anyone tell me where I can get a suitable rubber gaiter - and any suggestions on how to fit it. It would seem it has to stretch a long way to get over the gearstick anti-vibration weight thingy. Paudman
Soften it with gentle heat and stretch it over the obstruction with an expander saucy as a CV joint boot tool. Just make sure it stretches without tearing.

Clive
I have used a TR7 gaiter in the past. There is a specific rubber boot for the single rail box, little short thing. It sits inside the sewn in gaiter. Or if you are not worried about originality. you can improvise, have a trawl through evilbay for idea. I used an MGB gaiter with chrome ring on my zetec spitfire with T9 box, but I think the gaiter would be too short for your application. WIMPUS
Those single rail gaiters are pretty rare ( as not made new) 🤔I noticed i had it missing and my gearstick was getting warm on long journeys + some fumes .. I found people that sold old ones in the Netherlands, but for 20£ and more 🙁Eventually found one 30 min from my door & got it for free
