Hi Tim, We werent victims of any speed limit reductions, we had just got a little bit of a wriggle on. If the camera had caught us earlier it could have been far more expensive, as where we were caught we were a lot slower 😇

Surely my details being released by the DVLA to French authorities is in total contravention of GDPR 😎😛

It might be of interest to everybody who is entering the 10CR, or traveling european roads that the UK authorities now release our personal details to other European countries for when motoring offences are commited. How do i know this? Well, this morning I have recieved a French violation notice for an 'alledged' 😉 speeding offence from a return trip from the Spa-Francorchamps 6 hour race, on the 16th September 2018. Violation notice dated 15th March 2019. Recieved 27th March 2019. As Shaw Taylor would have said 'keep them peeled'!

I didn't understand Bill's original post until Andy's email arrived this morning! But now it is clear, On a 10CR run my idea is to kick back and enjoy the whole experience. See some great country side, which you can't at night and experience the hospitality of the local overnight stops! Hotels are all now booked for Car 36......with the Ulm hotel having a brewery on site! Can't wait.

Of course all the ferry operators / tunnel operators will be passing on their lower energy costs  :X :X No probably not  ;D ;D On the petrol side though it will make the 10CR cheap again, like going back in time  8)

In the Spring I was looking at a set of the 165x15 Vredestein Classic or their 185/70HR15. To the professional what is the difference in performance / handling between the Pirelli tyre and the 2 Vredestein , bearing in mind these are intended for a TR4 that has had the suspension set up for radials? We've booked ourselves into the Landgasthof Schutzen purely on the basis they have a BEER garden, I can feel the heat of the sun even now....or is it frost bite bearing in mind current weather conditions?
