  1. Found it ,It was a earth strap which connects to the engine then to the battery then to the body(all on one wire) ,the body one had not be reconnected
  2. Triumph mk2 1971 auto 2000 Driving back after asking garage to fix indicators ,notice the volt meter reading very low and with head lambs on indicators now flashing very slow ,what could this be ,could the garage have short circuit something ,or is it case of alternator going ,battery full charge as starts no problem headlamps on full beam car starts ok. Update the voltage meter on dash board reading 14volts then when the lights comes on goes down to 11volts ,took earth of battery whilst running ,did not stop engine,

Hi Rear brakes getting hot after handbrake applied on only driver side rear, strip down ,cylinder is fine as new, the shoes are new too, strip and reassembled could spin the drum ok,went for a drive handbrake applied ,on return of 1 mile drum was very hot and wheel was hard to turn on driver side rear ,offside no heat. help?
  4. Hi I have the same problems when I change gear loud cluck from the rear , when I turn my wheels like you I get the same sound , new bearings and uv joints on mine too , the cluck it not there when I jack it up and put the car in neutral, can anyone advice . Thanks

First time doing the Coast 2 Coast unfortunately, engine mounts decided to call it a day , when along came the nights in shinning amour in the name of Dav and John from East Kent , sorry plus 2 other guys who I’ve forgotten there name I think one was called Don , any way , Dav the miracle man just so happened to have engine mounts in his boot , yeh in his boot , 3 hours later the darkness and heavy rain stop the the final bolt going in , these guys are my heroes, not only did they not give up against all odds and stubborn bolt just would not go in , but sacrifice there chance of completing the event , in a world what’s been turned upside down in the last year , this to me is what sums up the best in us , these guys did this not for reward ,but just to help a fellow member in a fix , I cannot thank them enough , so a massive thanks again .
