I can speak for ALL of Team Torpedo when I say that 2013 10CR was an event NOT to be missed!!!!   Disclamer: No speedos were worn creating the memories, at least none I heard of.

We just booked our flights, YEA we are excited!! Now just need to organize Car insurance, babysitters, and a million other things before September.  Is anyone else planning yet?

Roy, Ya know I'm jus yanking your chain.  We proved on the RBRR I was deaf! Don,   She had fun at the awards ceremony, it will be fun to see her interact with the group kidless.  I can't wait.

I'm A Triumph lover...my wife is ehhh...She wants to look out the window. More time sightseeing, less time getting sea sick will win her over.  She is not used to the European windy roads Bring on the Sat NAV!  Yes it is just a crutch, but if it eliminates one argument while we are doing circles...

Michel, I'm gonna stop, shake your hand, and introduce my wife!  Can't wait!   

Sat Nav keeps marriages happy...I've driven through France before with my wife before Sat Navs existed...Yea, not a good trip.    Plus it helps us non-roundabout types survive without getting dizzy.

My wife signed up as my co-driver!!!  Hopefully there are bathrooms at the tops of some of these passes.  I'm joking, she is very excited.  Already planning.  We will see all you guys next fall hopefully.

I think for Team Torpedo, it would be easier to list what didn't break.. Joking 2000 saloon just lost a coil and began to run rough...french gas?  Can't wait to dig into it at home. Dolomite needed a top radiator hose, but we improvised. The other two cars.....sigh! Where do I begin?

   Thank you Club Triumph and everyone that participated for an amazing time.  Team Torpedo had the trip of a lifetime..we cannot stop talking about it.  Everyone was friendly, funny, helpful, and warm.  It is amazing how the Triumph margue attracts the same minded fun loving people the world around.   Most of us just got home today, but the 10CR will not be over for Team Torpedo until Casper (2000) and Rebecca(Dolomite) land in the states and make the last full days drive to the midwest, planned on the 24th of September.  A special shout-out goes to Roy Lacey, who spend many months dealing with our questions, concerns, running errands, and purchasing supplies for our entire group.  He was always there to guide us so that we were prepared, and also stored Casper and unselfishly prepped it for the run, ignoring his own GT6 many times in the process.  Thank you Roy from all of us!!!      First day back in the USA, is there any doubt what shirt I am wearing today?

Colin, Is it a swap just like the Stag,... unbolt bottom and top shocks and the springs fall out.  10 minutes later your done, or is it trickier? (assuming no rust, clear skies, on a no wind day)  ok, maybe a little rust....  :-/

Velocita, I posted a general schedule on a different thread.  I sat down yesterday to do that, but the wife pulled me away. Sorry.  We are nervously excited to get over there.  Since 3 of the cars have never been seen by the group, we plan on doing this schedule, but we might be just turning wrenches under a light at some dark lit petrol station for 4 days.  Time will tell, and an adventure is all we are expecting.  Looking forward to the sights and smells of 86 Triumphs blasting off on a crazy adventure.  

Team Torpedo Current Schedule I will be in Telford Friday the 30th through Sunday the 1st getting some rest and touring the RAF museum and Fitchetts. Monday others will start to arrive in London.  Joe, Jim, M.Montoya, G. Minucci, and possibly Howard. We will be picking up two cars in London and heading to Horndean to pick up the last car. Tuesday we plan to be at the Ace cafe after grabbing the last few guys from the airport and some will be at the Battle of Britain museum while others will take a countryside tour. We end up that night in Hook at the Triumph Club Meeting North Hampshire. Wednesday we will be on the Ferry to Calais. If you will be any of these places, let us know and we will meet up. We are getting excited over here in the states.  I head to Britain in 5 days!!!

Velocita Rosso,    I could not agree more!!  Thanks for the hearty laugh!!  Without the Great Winston Churchill to save us, we will work extra hard to be on time.      Joe posted his Triumph fleet, here is a photo of mine.  If some of you are wondering how I got My mark 1 2000 named Casper to pose in the photo, please finish the pint and look again in the morning  :)    The more I talk to the men who are currently helping us, the more I cannot wait to meet you all.

Goody, Looks to be a daylight raid from the flight times, sticking with the British/American WW2 traditions as we build up as allies on our invasion of Europe, .  Looking forward to having a great time with like minded people! Doug Jensen
