Hi I have a dolomite engine in tr7 . I has a electric water pump oil pressure about 40-55 psi when cold then 25 -45 psi when warmer oil . when the engine was rebuilt up used a drill and socket to drive oil pump distributor remove to drive oil pump check pressure and turn engine over by hand. The jackshaft will only oil to camshaft at 1 or places on jackshaft . OIl pump have prv [bypass valve spring] most all new pump have a heavy spring giving higher pressure Robsport sale prv spring no 215573spring . My has this spring fitted. Chris

hi tr7 have a bearing on struts part no ukc9395/ukc329 and ulc2043 are replaced to a kit rb7706 from rimmers or sus023 from robsport. The old bearings seize and make noise when turning on steering

Hi I hane change d by screws from tr7 carburettor . the screws is size10 unc 1/2 inch long chesse head . 10 size screws at 0.190 inchs or 4.826mm diameter . on 10 unf same 0.190 inch and at32 thread inch . I got by 10 unc screws from Accu co.uk they have unf countersunk also Chris

At work i have had many trucks filled wrong fuel petrol . after draining fuel replace fuel with diesel keep fuel in can over a week the fuel will separate different weight . i can not remember if petrol is at top or bottom . i have soon a cly head been blown up running someone had but petrol in on a diesel ford sierra 2.3 had a dent in bonnet cly head had a gap below block head been hold by injector pipes and exhaust

the lt77 gearbox was used on morgan's cars tvr's cars . Land rover have improved the lt77 to r380 gearboxs rev gear selector in different place. The lt77 hads improvements over years . different size bearings

hi heater matrix rubber seal is unable to get now. The matrix has been changed at fittings regs pipes stainless and rubber pipes. Regs most to remove complete heater fascia etc. Chris
