Thanks for that, the twins were set up perfectly, and now they are spitting etc, now stripped. Hoping that all will be well once back on, but not holding breath. Single is much more appealing, no balancing, one mixture ..... Now to find the bits.

Hello, I have a coupe, was a saloon, with a 1300 spitfire engine and twin SU's . I have a tubular exhaust manifold also. I am getting a bit fed up tweaking and Balancing the carbs. My question is will a standard stromberg and inlet manifold fit straight on? I want a car that I can use regularly with out constant fiddling. Just put in electronic dizzy . Any ideas for a simple life. Not looking for a racer, just a good set up that that works. Thanks :)
