  1. I’ve worked for 2 companies that were bought by venture groups. No interest in the product only interested in making their money back (and more) quickly. Prices went up considerably. Rimmers was already a bit pricey.
  2. Your pressure sounds fine. My stag is just under 50 psi when cold and driving and 25 psi hot idle. you may see you pressure increase with 20/50. Too much pressure isn’t good tho as that may suggest a blockage. Yours sounds fine.
  3. Which is why a lot of bikers have loud exhausts, if we can’t be seen then we’ll be heard!
  4. Yes, I know how lighting works, I’m an electrician By trade.😀
  5. yes I know. Rich must have the warm white as they’re not intense. They suit the car.
  6. Richard Warr has LED headlights (I was co driver) his are “toned down” so they look a lot like Halogen but with a better beam spread, they aren’t bright white and don’t look like a collapsed star! His lights were a massive improvement over the sealed beams and not too expensive. I’m sure he bought them from classic car LED where you can spec the brightness (maybe 3000K?) I’ll be fitting some to the stag we also had the TR tan the back of our heads 😀
  7. Both head gaskets, timing cover gasket, sump gasket, new O rings on the spin on oil filter conversion. shimmed the valves, still a little “tappey”
  8. Unfortunately it’s not just Paris. It seems it’s quite a few of the larger cities, I think Lyon, Grenoble, Toulouse to name a few
  9. Having just took the modern car on holiday to the south of France we didn’t experience any issues. Just a 1/2 delay at the Chunnel going over. Yes the queues seem longer at both sides of the tunnel but you are called in time and everything was ok. I do have an air critique for the car (€4 I think) make sure you get you air critique from the official French Government website, lots of scams going on. wish I was going on the 10CR myself
  10. Hi, bit late to the post (been on holiday) no CT mag for me either.
  11. It’s only going one way. It’ll be £2 per litre before we know it.
  12. I did, but I’m sure that doesn’t count. I must do better
  13. Sadly and embarrassingly just 800 miles in the Stag. Don’t really know why it’s wasnt used so much. We never had a holiday in it. It used to take us to France once a year and every other year a trip to Le Mans.
  14. 5 stars from me, it was my first and hopefully not last
