  1. With deep reluctance and due finally to an un car related family crisis, team 116 is withdrawing from the 2021 RBRR. Sorry guys, hope we'll see you all in 2023! PS, anyone know how I make this withdrawal official? Cheers, Steve
  2. I got Shell V-max yesterday in the wilds of Shropshire, only a 3 car queue for a pump and no limit on amount. The price had me a bit drop jawed though, at £1.54/litre! I will at least make it to the start line - if I can find another driver, my 3rd team driver has had to drop out due to a work injury. Will give it a go 2 up if we must but would prefer 3! Steve
  3. Hi all, with 2 days left, I have also lost the 3rd member of my team 116 Maverick Triumph driving the Dolomega Sprint auto with Vauxhall power. The car has only done 200+ miles since completion and has a number of issues but i'm still hopeful of completing. Brave volunteers please email me, or reply on here. You will need at least 3rd party insurance to drive other peoples cars and a fuel contribution would be appreciated, entry is paid for already. Bring your own food/tea, think we have everything else! Cheers, Steve
  4. This is the Dolomega, a 78 Sprint with the heart of a 2001 Vauxhall Omega. MOT'd for the first time since 1994 on Sept 1st (the 43rd anniversary of it's DOFR) and with the odometer showing today a whole 77 miles since being returned to the road. Still some snagging to do, but mostly, everything seems to work!
  5. Glad I hit the hay at 1 am! Got on about 9.15AM to get 116! 10 mins later the reserve list kicked in! The team numbers are all over the place, but it seems to be largely self correcting as there are matching gaps in the sequence near each duplicated (or triplicated) number. Since i'm not using the number but a team name and the number doesn't even affect your start position, it doesn't bother me if I end up with 116 or 117 (my number is also duplicated) Early night tonight as much work still to do on the registered car! I have a backup car that is my daily, so that needs virtually no prep if it HAS to step in, but i'd RATHER use the primary, should be quieter and more comfy than the trackday spec backup!
  6. This is exactly what I did. The only hang up was the "settings" option (Crossed spanner and screwdriver icon) ONLY appears when you select "People" and "My Profile" which I had to work out as I didn't have that bit of info. Then took a bit longer to work out how to register car details. Thanks to Darren Sharp for giving the gist of it on the FB RBRR Banter page! Still need to work out how to upload pics!
  7. I want to enter the 2020 event and thought i'd check my profile. Which says i'm not a member when in fact I am since September! I can't work out how to do it and obviously need to get it done before Saturday! please someone help me.
