  1. Hi All, I have a new s/s sports manifold fitted (James Paddock supplier) but he doesn't have any of the single sports back box. Does anyone have a good (prefer stainless steel) sports back box they are looking to sell for 1500 Spitfire? Consider double pipe also - just want to get it finished really.
  2. Hi All, Just testing the waters but are there any Sprints for sale in the Club? Asking for a non club member who has been looking for one. Please be aware - Budget of about £9k....!
  3. We done the C2C but didn't check the economy but on our 1st RBRR we averaged 35.4mpg in a 1500 Spitfire with no overdrive. My mate drove the car carefully and I was pushing it, so may have got a little bit more driving conservatively. I changed the jets on my SU's before the RBRR and got the carbs balanced professionally. I think this helped the most.
  4. Peeled my stickers off on Monday lunchtime from my 1500 Spitfire and they were proper stuck - going nowhere... I really do think it's just the surface they are attached to. Mine was perfect but there will be others, where the stickers don't take. Thanks again everyone - we had a blast Team 172 The Concrete Cows
  5. Love this picture of Trevor The Triumph. Team 152 - The Concrete Cows from Milton Keynes are ready to go. Only problem is, the nearer the date gets, the more I start checking and making alterations, settings and double check things that are not a problem... Is this normal?
  6. Hi All, Just seen that I have a crack in one of my Minilites - just before RBRR.... Doh...! Does anyone have a spare one lying around that I could purchase please? I am in Milton Keynes but happy to collect from anywhere. My contact number is 07855 082200. Thank you in advance.
  7. What a fantastic event and I just wanted to thank the organisers, The Flamborough Head Restaurant workers but especially all the guys and gals (and the blow up doll..!) we met for the first time... Nicest bunch I have ever come across and so much brilliant advice, from way more experienced people than myself. Our only problem was a strap breaking on the back box and it being held up by 5 bungee cords at the finish. Thanks James Baldry for the picture. Also glad to see the crew of the Vitesse were safe and well but what a pity about the car.... it was a somber reminder..... Can't wait until the next one (and we are doing RBRR..)...
  8. I understand the concern and it is a valid point but my crew have both injections now and we do regular Lateral Flow Tests for work. Based on the current information, we will be on the start line (and hopefully the finish line) and if it was not officially on, I would probably still do a run. I have the hotel booked for the night before and looking forward to the weekend away. I hope it goes ahead and look forward to meeting everyone.
