  1. Having read all the reports so far, surely it all comes down to common sense. I have done 4 successful RBRR in a vitesse with only 2 of us. each time i and my co-driver were over 70 yrs old. Let us all dweell on the fact that "tiredness can kill "and bear that in mind. Malc.

  5. Tim. Would you like is to marshall at Oakhampton again if it is being used. Malcolm Philpott.
  6. Mike. Do you need a marshall for the 23rd Feb. Malcolm Philpott.
  7. HiTim.  Hope you have us down for Oakhampton control.  All the best for the New Year. Malcolm Philpott.
  8. If any "newbies" are doing this run as a " twosome", as I have done several times over the years, found it useful to do a list, in large letters, of the route covered overnight. This then allowed the navigator to try and have some kip. Good luck to all. Hope to see you at the Oakhampton stop. Malc.
  9. Ben.  Great video by Vicky. Very clear and super scenery. Thanks. Malcolm.
  10. The red vitesse had a broken rotor arm and has a rumble from the rear. Otherwise went very well. 2 litres of oil about 32 mpg. A great run. Malc.
  11. Just a very big THANKS to Ellis and team for a fantastic run. The scenery was breathtaking, especially the Dolomites. Pity the Europoean`s do not sign diversions when they repair motorways. Now to relax and sort out the car. What a way to spend 5 days. Thanks again. Malc.
  12. Dinn.  Had new tyres fitted to my vitesse. Then had to have new front springs  as the new tyres caught the wing on tightish lock,  Your car is probably better set up. Malc.
  13. Wim. As said previously, very kind thought. As my first 10CR have made a note of your number. Thanks. Malc.
