  4. I have just fitted one the plastic tunnel covers to my GT6 and had the same problem. The lip on mine was so deep it was not allowing the rubber seal to properly contact the floorplan and bulkhead. I removed most of the lip leaving approx 1 - 2mm with a Dremel and now it is fitted ok. Tim.

    Exhaust Query

Hi, For many years I had a old Falcon twin exhaust on my Spitfire 1500, which started to crack on joints so I replaced it with the Phoenix twin system.  The Phoenix system was very loud and the final straw was on the motorway from Duxford last October, by the time I got home my ears were ringing. I also found found that on cold start-up the phoenix exhaust would cover the bot lid in little black spot from the exhaust. So I replaced the complete system for the Maniflow mild steel system. This system is excellent, much quieter but still sporty and fits the car better with more ground clearance. I chose the 2 silencer system, the mid silencer helps to reduce the motorway 'drone'. Maniflow customer service does take a bit of patience and I had to wait 2 weeks for them to make my exhaust but it is a great system. Tim.
