hi, i have just fitted a 1500 dolomite 81 reg engine in my herald. The jet bearings in my carbs sit about 2mm lower than the carb body instead of almost flush, this seem unusual to me and i can only get it to run with full choke. any help please

I have just re wired my ignition key as I think it was wired up wrong as the aux key was not working. I seem to have a extra wire going to it, colour of mainly white with a thin stripe of either brown or purple?. all the other wires seem to be there as the diagram shows. any clues as to what this does please. thanks

I need my 2 rear wheel arches repaired, repair panels purchased, also I want an overdrive conversion, does anyone know who can do the work for me. glyn
