Thanks for your replies. I shall try to remove - but very carefully

    Trim removal

Hi, I have a Herald 13/60 and along the front edge of the bonnet is a piece of chrome trim. Can this trim be removed without causing damage and, if so, what is the best way to do it. Thank you

    Panel seam seal

Thanks for this. Presumably there is a rubber seal for the rear section. I'll do some further research

    Panel seam seal

Hi, I posted this thread to the chit chat but maybe I should have put it here. I have to remove the roof of my Herald 13/60 to repair some rust between the windscreen surround and roof. I've not attempted this type of job before and wondered which would be the best panel seam seal to use. Also does it come in a tin or tube. Thanks
  6. I have to remove the roof on my Triumph Herald 13/60 to deal with a rust problem between the windscreen surround and the roof. What sealant would you recommend when replacing the roof?

    Herald headlining

Many thanks for your quick response. A winter job I think.

    Herald headlining

Hi Everybody, Just joined the Club after meeting members at the Bristol Classic car show recently. First technical question I'm afraid.  I think I have a rust problem between the roof and the top of the windscreen surround above the drivers seat. I assume I will have to take the roof off to investigate. The thing is that my headlining is in very good condition and so will taking the roof off damage the headlining. Obviously if any rust has spread under the lining then it will need to be removed. Many thanks
