Weird thing is, I have replaced the caliper with a new one. So the pads should just go back in.... Very strange. Thanks for the idea though.

Hi all, I have a Lotus 7 which has type 12 Herald disc brakes on the front. My problem is the front RH caliper has cracked and I have replaced it with a new one, now the brake pads will not fit back in to the caliper. They barely fit and grind on the disc. Any help or advice would be most appreciated. Toby
