Hi I'm no mechanic & I also have a problem with my Beauford kit car! It is a cortina 1.6 pinto engine with a chopped about wiring loom! With no ballast resistor in anywhere! I had a accuspark electronic ignition system fitted including coil, but I'm not sure if that should of had a ballast resistor in the kit? Has anyone got any ideas as I have problems restarting the engine after its hot?? Any help much appreciated? In lay mans terms please!! Lol

Hi it would be 2 16 year olds me and my mate, it would be just the block with no head or dynamo fitted as it is all stripped down already C

Hi it's on a bare chassis so would be easier but think I may take your advise and hire or even buy a cheap second hand one because I'll be putting it on an engine stand so would need to be held in one position for a while C

Hi How heavy is a 1360 engine with all the ancillaries remove is it light enough for 2 people to lift out?

Rear ones I brought the red one that shows up on eBay often, also the same as the one on the tssc shop

Can I just pull my hubs straight of or is there a retaining clip(?) may sound a stupid question but don't want to break them Cheers

What's needed for it to run good with weber 40's? stage 2 polished ported head, cam upgrade, electronic ignition? I'm new to this but it will only be for occasional use so not majorly worried about fuel economy?

Hello Anyone know where I can pick up a inlet manifold for twin weber 40 for my herald 13/60? And do they make a lot Of difference as I'm running a single su at the moment! Thanks In advance Curtis

Thanks Dave, I have seen Delaney ones on canleys for £56 but they are out of stock so I think I might get one of those if in the meantime I can't find one cheaper. Still expensive at that price! May even pop into a local auto factors see if they can pick them up any cheaper. Thanks for the pics Dave much appreciated
