  1. Took my tr7 out for a run on Saturday on Sunday it was my morris minors turn need a longer weekend when my mini is on the road

  5. Just read your restoration post on the stag what a brave skilled man you are I have done a few restorations as a hobby on smaller cars than yours but not quite as delapidated as yours . How are you with it at present
  6. I asked a friend of mine to bring me a set of snap on ratchet spanner’s back when he was next on a trip to the USA I finished up with a cheap Walmart set he said the others were rather expensive . That aside they are useful when you have the room to use them
  7. I was there about 20 years ago in my 4a along with other triumphs from the South Downs group (tr register) even then the tiled floor of I think either shell or esso emblem had been taken up ie stolen what a shame

  13. Yes I have used a surface grinder to reduce the shims to the required size thought such a small shim even only case hardened would be hardened to quite a depth on a small shim .
