    07 August 2021      08 August 2021

STOP PRESS 21/04/21 - The Motorfest Dates have changed.
For 2021, MotoFest Coventry will switch from its traditional date on the first weekend in June, to a new ‘MotoFest Month 2021’ programme, stretched out across four individual MotoFest Coventry weekends, taking place from 17 – 18 July to 7-8 August.
Each of the four weekends will be themed, with the initial launch weekend on 17 and 18 July titled ‘Your Future Moves’ and based around innovation and technology.
While the first weekend’s focus is future technology, there will be a step back in time with an ‘Italian Job’ themed spectacular set to launch the festivities.
The July 24 and 25 weekend will go full throttle for two wheeled fans, with ‘Bike Weekend’ set to feature a ‘Ride In’ and dynamic and static displays as part of the programme.
The July 31 and August 1 weekend is ‘Motorsport and Performance Weekend’, featuring a mixture of dynamic and static motorsport displays taking place around the city centre. While there will be no full ring road circuit this year, there are plans for a drift arena and dynamic motorsport displays.
The final weekend on August 7 and 8 is the ‘Classic and Performance Car Weekend’. Both days will feature static displays in Broadgate and themed events including a classic car rally taking in Coventry and the surrounding Warwickshire countryside.
Across all four weekends, there will be various motoring themed activities and events including a week-long programme of drive-in concerts located at Millennium Place.
‘Classic and Performance Car Weekend’. Both days will feature static displays in the City Centre and themed events including road runs taking in Coventry and the beautiful surrounding countryside.

NEW CLASSES FOR THIS SEASON We are trying out some new classes for this season, which we hope to try and stimulate more interest from those that used to do them and that we hope we can entice you back or those who haven't tried them before.   RallyRun For those that want to enjoy doing the event, but not have to plot any navigation. You can run in this class for as long as you like. RallyRun crews will not be classified in the overall standings for the event.      Navigation by marked map.   Novice For those not classified as Expert, but would like to work out the navigation, but can’t manage it all whilst doing the event due to time taken or having to be stopped whilst working it out. Navigation issued ¾hrs before start.   Semi-Expert For those not classified as Expert, but are keen to work out the navigation whilst going around the route.      Navigation issued at controls on route.   Expert Shall have won one or more class or overall awards on a permit event or won a 12 Car event, within the last three years.      Navigation issued at controls on route.     The Navigators classification will determine the class of the crew regards navigation received.
