Andrew send me an mail not to desesperate to have a place since this summer. Then it is still possible to meet at the start and aloong the entire event. Anyway, it will be a pleasure!

I will be spectating somewhere in the Alps around Grenoble with my stickered 2000MkII some of you have seen during RBRR. :)

Too busy end of november placed us at more than fifth position into the reserve list!

Hope we will succeed next time!

However, I will arrange to cross the route as wz did last time around Grenoble or somewhere else in the Alps. Let's keep in touch if any help is needed from here.

So did I! Just one car the crew told me the meeting place was in a supermarket carpark. I went there to meet a few other ones before they take their short rest.

Ooops! I shouldn't have sign one in the middle of the night at Grenoble citadelle.... ;)

In the ENFIELD Independant

Hi folks, we are newbies, we are foreigners, we did not attend the drivers meeting, we measure distance in kilometers, not miles, we don't speak very well the language and with an awfull accent, we are eating frogs and snails...., anyway we made the trip without any issue and with a lot of pleasure.

We read the advices send by the organisers with attention and we were not surprised at any time. We had enough food and water in the car to stay in good shape between the two breakfasts. It was for us a real amazing experience to share traditionnal breakfasts with others attendants. I was never able to eat beans before but this time I enjoyed it, really! There was a short queue at Land's End, no matter, it was not so long and it was an opportunity to discuss together...

We were sometimes a little bit late at controls but we always found kind persons to take care of us.

We recorded all controls points into a satnav as a B-plan just un case maybe going POI to POI (I don't know what it means!!). In fact we mainly followed the roadbook, relying on the satnav only a couple of times when the codriver was asleep.

Then I must confess I am guilty to eat two pies at Morrisson's. I am really ashame of this, we were rather late, I didn't realize they were limited. Sorry!

I would want to thank all the organisers and marshalls to set up such an unique amazing event. I will have glittering eyes for a long time thinking about what we lived during that marvellous trip.

Performing such involvement in the middle of the night under heavy rain must be congratulated. Thank you very much guys, it was fantastic.

I am fully agreeing it would be quite unfair to post RBRR pictures on any media without doing it on CT website,

Anyway, as a facebook addict, I also post there. facebook is a wonderful tool to meet people around the world sharing the same interests. This is not the only one but it is the most known.This is my point of view, I would not try to convince those who are not.

At picture point of view, even a little bit long, CT website is not so bad to upload pictures. facebook is easier that's right, it also permit to post from cellphone in more or less any place during the trip. That's its force to keep our family and friends informed live.

Until now, I used to rent UK cars, It will be the first time I drive my own car in UK.
Then this time I will not think the wheel has been stolen when I open the "driver's" door!

I (Michel) will be on the left side of the car, in front of the wheel! Philippe will be my eyes for overtaking...

For this picture, I was training already to drive on the wrong side of the road.... :)
