I have to say that looks great work Scott. Won't be long now before you get the body back on the chassis.  :)  

That'll be a cracker when its all together, especially when all the chrome work is fitted.

What are your plans for wheels?

I agree with GT6s, pitting like that on the block surface likely to cause problems in future. I had similar on my engine rebuild so had the block decked. If you do that, then you'll need to machine the pistons to size as well. As already suggested, maybe another block is a better option.

Great work Beans, all your thorough prep will pay huge dividends on the finished car.

Have you considered doing a 2+2 conversion? Ideal opportunity with the body this well stripped. I did a 2+2 to my dhc four years ago and can show you a few pics of how if interested.
