  1. After a somewhat coordinated attack on the Club Triumph website today, we have opted to manually approve all new user registrations.

This will not impact existing forum users or Club Triumph members.

We'd like to thank everyone that helped report inappropriate content and minimise the impact of the attack.

  2. Just a heads up that the RBRR pages of the website have been updated with all the details for this year's event.

    https://www.clubtriumph.co.uk/rbrr/

Entry will open on Friday 10th February 2023 at 7:00pm

Please make sure your club membership is up to date.

Purchase of the event entry is only through the website and is only open to club members.

If your membership has expired you will not be able to purchase event entry.

If you are viewing the website as a guest, non-member, or expired member, now is the time to get your membership up to date!

  3. We are currently investigating an issue with the event calendar dates. It would appear that although the event date and times were entered correctly into the events calendar, they are being displayed eight hours LATER than the intended date / time.  We think this might be a result of a website update earlier this week. Please bear this in mind when viewing the events calendar. Please check with the event organiser before travelling.

  4. Due to a recent rise in the number of attempted scams via private message, we have restricted the ability for non Club Triumph members to send private messages.

Before a non Club Triumph member can send private messages, they will need to have posted at least TEN public forum posts.

This should make it more difficult for scammers to infiltrate the forum, as any suspicious posts will be easily spotted by the moderators.

We have removed from the forum all the scam accounts that have been reported to us.

Club Triumph members and forum users with a post count greater than ten, should not be affected by this change.

  5. We're looking for a BT Internet user who doesn't mind helping us test a few website/forum features.

The email address you use to access the website needs to be a btinternet.com address.

If you can help, please drop an email to hello@clubtriumph.co.uk

    Cheers!

  6. Following an alert from Invision, we are disabling the feature that allows users to sign in with their display name. Users are requested to sign in with their email address from now on.

Allowing users to log in with a display name can represent a security weakness for your community because display names are public information and malicious users may attempt to login to multiple accounts with common passwords until they find an account for which the passwords work. It is recommended that you only allow users to log in with their email address.
