    Thanks for the reply Clive. I thought there must be a reason 1850 boxes haven't been converted to 1500s on mass. Looks like I'm on the hunt for a 1500 box!!!

    Evening all, Got my hands on a 1850 j type overdrive gearbox (through ignorance didn't realise it was an 1850) and was wondering what I would need to do to change the input shaft over to a 1500? Is it just a straight swap?
