would agree with tim at least you know what you have ls hopefully not full of bodges cover ups

can still be rad had it myself , water flowed out bottom hose removed exchange rad fine , does it boil up heater hot ?

must have had some flow would have boiled up running a hour . a air lock that sorted itself or stat

l would not use it if something goes wrong earth wise possible fire , drill a new hole my opinion .

think you will find they are all the same , hard to find with out the glass second hand though

could even be the starter going to earth , really needs to do some basic checks when he returns from his run out , battery may be ok is the dynamo charging is the wiring from the dynamo ok to be honest not hard to find the problem . bit of detective work required paul

that will depend on what silencer box is fitted / taking a reference point from the silencer wont really work

has the original floor totally been cut away or just plated over

not actually saying it is the dynamo , but a few basic tests could save you wasting money , may just be the terminals corroded on the control box or inside , have had it happen on my vitesse bit cleaning up was fine paul

did it come on when you turned the ignition on

i would charge the battery start the car see if ignition light goes out when you rev the engine or flickers then you can do a few simple tests, paul
